Air Fryer Beef and Bacon Burger

There is nothing like the comfort of a burger loaded up with your favourite sauces and salads! What makes this one extra special is that it's all made in the air fryer.
Ingredients

Patties

  • 500g regular beef mince
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp salt

Burgers

  • 4 middle rashes bacon
  • Spray olive oil
  • 4 slices gouda cheese
  • 4 brioche buns
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • ½ onion, sliced
  • ¼ cup canned beetroot 
  • ¼ cup pickles, sliced
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise 
  • ¼ cup ketchup 
  • ¼ cup yellow mustard
Method

 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C.
  2. Place the burger patty ingredients in a large bowl, use your hands to combine. Split the mixture into four equal portions and form the patties.
  3. Cook the bacon in the air fryer for 6-8 minutes or until golden. Once cooked, set aside.
  4. Spray the patties with oil and cook in the air fryer for 8-10 minutes. 
  5. Add a slice of gouda cheese to each patty, followed by the bacon. Cook in the air fryer for 1 more minute. 
  6. Remove the patties from the air fryer and heat the brioche buns in the air fryer for 2 minutes. 
  7. Serve the beef and bacon burgers topped with tomato, onion, beetroot, pickles, mayonnaise, ketchup and yellow mustard.
